Thanks to you, Birmingham, Collectives Perspectives 2008
was a big success!

Participants of this years event enjoyed African-inspired foods by Catering by Lanetta while mingling with others and receiving information from organizations around town such as:

The Terminal
Lipstick Magazine
Sloss Furnace
Birmingham Civil Rights Institute

Topics covered during the programs included art, music and film presented by people in and around Birmingham. These programs proved to be engaging, enlightening and hit on issues relevant to all who came.

"The food was fabulous!"

"Excellent theme...adds depth and insight to common
Black History Month programs."

"This was one of the most creative ideas in Birmingham!"

"Locally appropriate yet universally interesting. A strong concept executed flawlessly."
